Roadkill Cletus is a patient introduced in Act 1 of Amateur Surgeon and is the 6th patient in Amateur Surgeon 4: Re-Generations.
Bio[]
Cletus is a Southern hillbilly who comes from a poor (and possibly inbred) family. Unable to buy real food, he must obtain his meals by eating the corpses of dead animals on the street.
Amateur Surgeon[]
While scouring the road for roadkill, Cletus so happens to trip, landing on the back of a dead porcupine. He finds Alan Probe and Dr. Bleed in the nearby warehouse to receive help for his prickly injury.
Alan's Description[]
Obviously coming from a very (very) close family, the patient scrapes his living (and meals) from animals killed from the roadside. In an effort to possibly mix business with pleasure, the patient has impaled himself on a porcupine. Remove quills, close cuts, and apply sun-lotion to back of neck.
Procedure[]
This surgery is one of the simple ones, where all you are required to do is extract the quills with the tongs, cauterising wounds along the way. There are several quills located outside his body, his kidneys, his liver, and his heart.
Cletus's heart rate may linger in low numbers, so use the Corkscrew (or injector in AS4) if you need too.

Cletus: Hay, can yew guys help out a friend?
Alan: Whoa! That porcupine has a hillbilly stuck on its ass!
Cletus: I went to, uh, pick-up this here prickle-pig, but done fell on it instead.
After Surgery[]
Cletus: Hay! That was pretty good! Thanks kindly!
*Cletus leaves the Warehouse*
Alan: So are you really the renegade doctor that burglar was talking about before?
Bleed: Alan, you have some real talent. I will continue to train you if it's what you want...
Alan: It's what I've ALWAYS wanted!
Bleed: But I will only do so on the condition that we do not talk about my past! It is uneventful and uninteresting, I assure you!
Alan: OK! You're the boss...doc!

- In Amateur Surgeon 4, Alan’s name is used in front of the dialogue when Cletus says; “Hay, that was pretty good! Thanks kindly!”
- Cletus and Lumbar are the only patients in Amateur Surgeon not known to or hinted towards having committed any crimes.
- In Cletus's case, Alan suggests he fell on the porcupine "to possibly mix business with pleasure", implying Alan thinks he is guilty of bestiality.
