Sudden Death is a bonus mode for most surgeries in Amateur Surgeon 3: Tag Team Trauma which the player can play to get a bonus star. Any single mistake made during the surgery will result in immediate death of the patient, resulting in an instant game over. It returns in Amateur Surgeon 4: Re-generations, remaining unchanged. Every surgery in Re-generations has an obtainable Sudden Death star, as opposed to Amateur Surgeon 3.
